A different approach to user personas that focuses / zooms in on the storytelling, getting not just the tidbits but more info about the character beyond her needs / wants as it relates to the digital task she’s completing. It signifies a shift in experience design, from simple demographics to psychograpics, to create an actionable persona. Here, the user persona comes alive and we understand not just their user journey as it pertains to the task at hand, but their values, the “why” that brought them here {to the service} in the first place.

In this case, the user's needs are communicated via a script, while they are in their natural habitat. This is reminiscent of combing through Tik Tok comment sections or observing a driver instead of asking them questions during UX research. Bringing alive a user, so that it feels like a script. An ode to chatbots, and generative AIs and the ways humans and computers will interact moving forward: A more personable human computer interaction.in these moments
